Item Code: 8444218 / 172291G

Description

The Superior series was designed for professional as well as domestic use. With the Superior knife series, FRIEDR. DICK has succeeded in perfectly combining a modern knife in shape and functionality with a traditional 3-rivet handle design. The result is a perfectly shaped classic of exceptional quality.

The Japanese word Santoku means “three virtues”: Wisdom, kindness and courage – characteristics that every kitchen needs. It can also excel in three different areas of use: Meat, fish and vegetables. This 180mm “all-rounder” in the kitchen – the Santoku can cut vegetables, fish and meat.

With its wide blade, the knife can be leaned against the backs of the fingers while cutting, while the blade features a V-shaped edge and the tip of the Santoku is often used to decorate food.

Blade is forged and polished, made of  X50CrMoV15 carbon steel alloy for retained sharpness and corrosion-resistance.

A special manufacturing process ensures that the blade and handle are firmly joined together through rivets, without any gaps – making the knife perfectly hygienic and with a high degree of stability.

The handle – perfected in volume and shape by its ergonomic form – fits nicely in your hands and ensures a firm grip.

Fun fact: In its current form, the Santoku only came to Europe about 50 years ago and was adapted to the European market.

Blade length 180mm.  Total length 300mm.  150g.

Made in Germany.
