Description

Sharpening steel is a tool designed to maintain the sharpness of your knives, ensuring they are always ready for action. The primary function of the sharpening steel is to realign the fine, rolled-over edge of a knife blade that happens during use – to hone and maintain the sharp edge of knives by straightening rolled cutting edges.

This FRIEDR. DICK magnetised sharpening steel sharpens the knife blade within a few strokes. This “standard” or “regular” cut steel features pronounced grooves, providing high abrasion to restore a knife’s edge with a more aggressive action than fine-cut steel.

The round profile of the steel makes it versatile for sharpening a wide variety of knife shapes and sizes, including chef’s knives. 

Slip-proof surface even when wet or greasy.
