Description
Knives are subject to heavy wear and tear due to everyday use. The use of the knife sharpener (or honing steel) ensures an impeccable edge maintenance.
Round butcher steel is primarily used for honing, not sharpening. Honing realigns the microscopic edge of the blade, restoring its sharpness after it has become dull. It does not remove any metal from the blade, unlike sharpening, which grinds away metal to create a new edge.
The steel is typically made of chrome-plated carbon steel, which provides excellent wear resistance and durability.
PP handle is non-slip, highly resistant to impact, abrasion, solvents, and withstands temperatures up to 120°C.
Made in Spain.
